چکیده
Resonance of railway bridges is a matter major concern in high-speed railways because it reduces riding comfort, damages the attached structures, and decreases strength girder bodies. Although this abnormal behavior can be inspected using situ displacement measurements taken from ground, its investigation tedious and, consequently, very expensive. In study, authors developed novel drive-by system for to detect resonant bridges; difference between two track irregularities at same position devices mounted on first last vehicles train was measured. This based idea that response vehicle passing through bridge attributed superposition resonance mechanisms. However, primarily arises since phenomenon not yet sufficiently excited. The Detection Index (RDI), defined as measured by vehicles, used emphasize component excited length propose methodology detecting bridges. Numerical simulations clarify span irregularity have greater effects RDI than either measurement noise or positioning error. Track may cause vary ± 2 mm depending wave irregularity. Consequently, study demonstrates with spans 20 60 m detected proposed RDI. Finally, method applied actual trains operating Japan. More ten bridges, out more 800 were according performed three these demonstrating presence thereby validating method.

With speed increasing in high-speed trains, due to limitations of other types of brakes, aerodynamic brake has become an important braking method. In this task to make better use of brake’s panel different configurations are examined and the best panel shape which provides the reasonable drag coefficient is introduced. The results of simulations are carried out with the computational fluid dyna...
متن کاملDynamic Analysis of Railway Bridges under High Speed Trains
The interest in dynamic behavior of railway bridges has increased in recent years with the introduction of high speed trains. Higher speeds of the trains have resulted in larger and more complicated loads than earlier, producing significant dynamic effects. The dynamic aspects are of special interest and have often shown to be the governing factor in the structural design. Dynamic analysis of r...
متن کاملAssessment of Track-ground Coupled Vibration Induced by High-speed Trains
As high-speed trains operate in more and more countries and their maximum speed increases, the vibration induced by the train has become an important issue. The dynamic coupling between the vehicle, track and ground has to be assessed for its effects on safety, stability and maintenance costs. A particular issue, especially for soft soils, is the critical speed at which the train reaches the wa...

During the last decade Railways have become one of the most advanced and fast developing branches of transportation technology. The reason is very high speeds achievable by the most advanced modern trains (French TGV, German ICE, Italian Pendolino, Swedish X2000, Spanish AVE, Belgium Thalys, the Eurostar) and very low air pollution per passenger compared with road vehicles. Unfortunately, the i...
